Hybrid vehicles are next generation most efficient cars. They are design by combining gas or petrol engine with electric motor in a such way that took all positive of gas or petrol engine by eliminating the drawbacks.

In most of the hybrid car's starting off and low speed driving is done by electric motor while meantime gas and petrol engine remains shut off. The main benefit of electric motor using in hybrid engine is that, they are energy efficient in running a car in low speed and as well as in smooth starts. Where as gas or petrol engine is use to drive wheel directly after the initial start given by the electric motor. This design of the car improve its fuel economy and increase the driving power by combining both power from gas or petrol engine and electric motor.

The energy from the wheels turns the electric motor, which
act as a generator, converting energy normally wasted during braking now converted
into electrical energy, which is stored in a battery for lateral use.
